The wedding venue has a very limited number of rooms, but these are all pre-booked for the bridal party (all rooms allocated).

Children are very welcome.

There is a generous car park at the venue, and it is possible for guests to leave cars at the venue overnight.

Transport & taxis

The nearest airport to Bewdley is Birmingham, and the nearest train station is Kidderminster. Bewdley is a circa 30 minute drive from Worcester.

Gift list

A few people have asked us about a gift list. The most important thing to us is that you are able to celebrate with us on our wedding day. However, if you wish to give a gift, we most value experiences and time together as a family, and would gratefully accept a small contribution towards our honeymoon or some special experiences together.

We would love to find a better way of doing this, but after much research, the easiest, other than cash, remains our bank details - we'll send these by email.

If, like us, you would like to know what the funds have gone towards, we promise to let you know and send you pictures of the fun!

In and around Bewdley

There are lots of fun activities in and around Bewdley …

Bewdley is a beautiful small town on the banks of the River Severn. It’s so picturesque, in fact, that the town’s name derives from the French Beau lieu (‘Beautiful place’). If you have the time, you could:

• Take a ride on the Severn Valley Steam Railway (Bewdley station, 10 mins walk from the town centre)
• Visit the lions, lemurs and hippos at the West Midlands Safari Park (1.5 miles from the town centre)
• Take a walk in the the Wyre Forest (2 miles from the town centre)
• Swing through the trees at Go Ape, in the Wyre Forest.
• Partake of a refreshment at one of the town’s many welcoming pubs and hostelries.

Wider area

Carla comes from the lovely city of Worcester - home to a beautiful cathedral, the River Severn, and, of course, the magical brown sauce! Worcester is approx. 30 minutes' drive from Bewdley, and is well worth a visit. Top tip: pop to Friar Street for a coffee and a snack in one of the lovely independent cafés.

Between Bewdley and Worcester lies Stourport, with a great park and play area for children.
